Beach Shopping

My favorite place to browse when on vacation is at Perspicacity in Seaside, Florida. I say browse, because the prices are high, but there are some affordable accessories.

What I love about this place has been the same since it opened 25 years ago, which is the outdoor location along the beach on Hwy 30-A, the salty air blowing through as you shop for brightly colored, beachy things, and the flea market type feel of stall after stall filled with anything and everything.

The merchandising is great...mostly clothes with accessories and sometimes small furnishings thrown in. It is like a treasure hunt. They call it a "beachside bazaar" and that perfectly sums it up.

Airstream Eats in Seaside

I've spoken before of my love for food trucks. In Seaside, Fl things food trucks are replaced by silver airstream trailers all in a row along Hwy 30-A. One of our favorite go to spots on our beach vacations is the cupcake trailer. Sadly, it is closed and so we hunted other options for lunch and treats.

We started at "The Melt Down" trailer.

We ordered the Classic Grilled Cheese...

and a Brie and Bacon Grilled Cheese on Walnut Raisin Bread.

Mama Zuma's Revenge potato chips are a hot and very spicy side item on the menu that can't be resisted because of the great packaging!

We then ventured to Raw & Juicy known for organic snacks, juices, and smoothies.

We ordered the Almond Love Shake made with Bananas, Almond Milk, and Almond Butter which was a big, big hit!
