My kids are always wanting to get in my studio and paint. I am trying to be better about letting them but it always seems like such a big ordeal. I saw this great idea on Design Sponge thanks to Merrilee at Mer Mag.
We started with blank paper that I gridded off into boxes.
I think a big key here is limiting the palette which we did with Valentine colors. The kids love mixing new colors and talking about what combinations make what so I gave them lots of white.
Then the kids got to work filling in their squares.
They worked really hard and did not tire until they were finished. I am in love with the results and am hunting frames to show off their masterpieces.
