Time for A Change

After 7 years in our loft, we were ready to update and change things around a bit. I saw this incredible chair that I couldn't get out of my head at a furniture store on the west side.


With a price tag of $900, I would only own this in my dreams. So I set to work to make my own version at home.

I bought hefty gray fabric at only $8 a yard, yellow acrylic paint, and stencils.

Within 3 hours from start to finish my new chair was complete. I threw in a Dwell pillow from Target and this is one great looking piece that actually makes me happy I couldn't afford the original one!
