Sidewalk Chalk Stencils

We did a lot of fun summer projects this year. One of our very favorite things is sidewalk chalk. I found these awesome medallion stencils on Amazon. They are so much fun to use. After a while, the kids just wanted circles drawn on the ground and starting designing their own. I actually wish there was a way to keep our front stoop looking like this all year around.

Fire Station Tour

The kids enjoyed a special visit to one of the Alpharetta fire stations this summer. Our friend, Tim, is a firefighter and invited the kids for a tour. Mary, Tim's wife, was my babysitter when I was a kid. It was such fun for them to show us around. The kids loved seeing everything. Ford's favorite part was the weight room because he could not believe the size of the weights the firemen can lift. Here are some photos from our visit.
