TOMO

Tomo is a hidden gem in the Kroger Strip Mall off Cobb Pkwy in Smyrna. From the outside, you would never know the magic that awaits you. I am convinced Tom Naito, the chef, could make anything on this earth taste fantastic. If you are adventurous, just pull up to the sushi counter, tell him your budget, and let him prepare you whatever he desires. You will not be disappointed.

Every meal starts out with miso soup. I love the lidded presentation.

My favorite item on the menu is the Lobster Carpaccio which I order each and every time. It is accompanied by thinly sliced cucumbers drizzled with truffle oil, pink sea salt, and Tomo salsa that is superb.
I attempt to try something new each time because truthfully I want to taste everything on the menu. This week I opted to try the Grilled Black Cod Belly with Garlic Ponzu. It was lovely.

For dessert, we had the Black Sesame Flan.

And a chocolate cube, only $1!!!

Another Dose of Pink

"I believe in pink." -Audrey Hepburn

In case you haven't had enough pink to fill your month yet, here is a bit more. These are little things that made me very happy this month.

A Monday morning homemade whoopie pie from Cindy on a candy heart plate brought to our painting class.

Pink Cowboy boots with a pink polka dot skirt. Just another day in the world of my little creative dresser.

A Valentine hostess gift all wrapped up and ready to go to a Valentine Tea Party for little girls.
